Anne Hathaway is certainly the 'it girl' this summer for her incredible adaptation of Catwoman in the Dark Knight Rises. It must have been so difficult to differentiate herself from the iconic Catwoman presented by Michelle Pfeiffer in Tim Burton's Batman Returns. We all know that Halle Berry tried and failed miserably. Anne Hathaway played a very different kind of Catwoman who didn't adopt any feline mannerisms. She took a very modern spin on the character and her delivery was very convincing.Whilst her character was not very vital to the storyline, I couldn't imagine the Dark Knight Rises without her. She absolutely steals every scene she is involved in. Anne's depiction of Catwoman portrays such a wide range of emotions throughout the film. Her character development is immense. Her character shifts moods suddenly at times and we really empathize with her as we motives behind her actions are revealed to us later on.
Anne's beauty is somewhat unique to others in the film industry, she possesses these enormous brown doe eyes, dark features, pale porcelain skin, wide full lips and one of the sweetest smiles you'll ever see. On top of that, she is also super down to earth and has a terrific singing voice.
